Shetland Ponies may be the smallest horse breed in the world, but many consider them the strongest as well! They grow between 28 and 46 inches tall, yet they can pull twice their weight. Just why is that so impressive? It means they have twice the power of many bigger, much heavier horses. No wonder they are considered such popular work animals!
One thing we are often asked about these adorable animals is where they got their name. Shetland Ponies originated in the Shetland isles just north of Scotland, hence the name. Now they can be seen anywhere, including our park. Have you seen these tiny and delightful animals in our drive-thru?
